Oxford is on the Cherwell Valley Line for a mixture of local, mid-distance and long distance intercity by First Great Western and Cross-Country. These Services serve main towns and cities to Worcester (Via Cotswold Line), Banbury, Reading, Slough and London Paddington. Cross-Country to Scotland, Northern England and Midlands (via Banbury and Leamington Spa).
Cross-country also run south to Reading, Guildford (one train a day), Basingstoke and main towns and cities along the south coast to Bournemouth.

Heyford is on the Cherwell Valley Line with services being provided by First Great Western.
Services to/from this station are provided by local trains between Oxford and Banbury. The frequency is aproximately every 2 hours to Oxford or Banbury stopping all stations. Trains increase in frequency during peak. Chiltern Railways also provide the odd service. There are no Sunday services.
